PLAIN WALL PVC PIPES
FOR DRAINAGE AND SEWAGE SYSTEM


Unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) pipes for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage, which requirements are being specified by
EN 1401 standard as follows:

  • Outside building structure (aplication area code "U")
  • Both buried in ground within the building structure (application area code "D") and outside the building.

This is reflected in the marking of products by "U" and "UD"

The pipes are manufactured in compliance with EN 1401-1 standard of CEN (European commitee for standardizarion), and certified by IIP certificate n° 212.



The manufacturer's Quality System is in compliance with ISO 9002 standard and certified by IIP CISQ certificate n° 217 IQNet certificate n° IT 3407

Chemical resistance

Besides their good abrasion resistance, PVC-U piping system conforming to this standard are highly resistant to corrosion both acid and alkaline.
For specific industrial discharge application, information over chemical and temperature resistance are detailed in ISO/TR 10358 for U-PVC material and ISO/TR 7620 for rubber material

Laying conditions

The PVC pipes do not need to be re-enforced and covered with concrete except in particular cases. In normal installation conditions, the expected average deflection of the outside diameter of the pipes will be less than 8 %.
However deflections up to 15 %, e.g. caused by soil movement, will not affect the proper functioning of the piping system.
